Automobile radio receiver In VHF range (FM) it is provided the best quality of reproduction of a sound, than on any other waves is considerable. However the radius of action of the radio stations working in this range, is limited owing to rectilinear distribution of ultra-short waves. Certain restrictions in reception are partially compensated by "smart" systems. The RDS system (Radio Data System) provides an automatic choice of frequency with the highest quality of reception if the radio station conducts a broadcasting on several frequencies. The method of a razneseniye of aerials means that some aerials are built in back glass for reception of ultra-short waves. Thus, in the car there are three aerials independent from each other. The built-in processor automatically chooses that aerial which provides the best reception of ultra-short waves. Switching from the aerial on the aerial is made for only a few milliseconds and is absolutely imperceptible for the person. |
