Check of directing valves

At carrying out repair of a head of the cylinders having not tight valves, there is enough processing of valves and saddles or their replacement. Besides, it is necessary to check wear of directing valves. Especially it is necessary for executing on engines with big service life. The worn-out directing exclude the correct landing of valves of m cause the raised consumption of oil. At too big wear it is necessary directing to replace on new (work HUNDRED).

1. Remove the valve.
2. Remove deposits on directing.
3. Insert the new valve from the combustion chamber. The end of a core should be closed by the directing.

4. Check a gap in interface, having shaken the valve.

5. For check of size of a gap put to the valve the indicator or a steel ruler. The maximum gap should not exceed 0.5 mm.
6. If a gap more, develop directing and establish repair valves with big diameter of a core (work HUNDRED).

If the directing was replaced or developed, it is necessary to process a valve saddle.
