Air removal from fuel system

If the fuel tank was completely spent or if any details of fuel system, as a rule, were replaced to delete air from system it is not required, since he automatically leaves itself in the course of engine start.

At emergence of difficulties in the course of start it is necessary to check, whether fuel arrives to injectors. For this purpose at two injectors unscrew cap nuts and start the engine without preliminary heating so that fuel arrived to cap nuts. Tighten nuts the moment of 20 Nanometers and again start the engine.

If air from fuel system automatically is not removed, it is necessary to arrive as follows:


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At work with fuel system it is necessary to fulfill requirements of observance of the purity, the Rules of observance of purity given in the Section at work with fuel system.

2. Watch that diesel fuel did not get on hoses of cooling liquid. If fuel got, it is necessary to wipe a hose at once. The hoses damaged by diesel fuel, it is necessary to replace.

3. Disconnect the pipeline of giving (3) to TNVD from the fuel filter. Thus compress a bracket. The flowed-out fuel collect and utilize it. Address to an accompanying illustration.

4. Insert a hose into a connecting carving and lower it in capacity.

5. Disconnect the relay of the toplivopodkachivayushchy pump and throw plugs on a relay socle. The pump can earn, address to the Section Check of the relay of the fuel pump.

6. If fuel follows from accession, remove a crossing point and insert the relay.

7. Again attach a hose, having greased previously consolidations by vaseline or the greasing which is not containing acids. The damaged consolidations replace. Fix connection by a clip.

8. Unscrew on two turns a carving stopper (1) at TNVD.

9. Turn the engine a starter so that fuel acted from a carving stopper. Collect the flowed-out fuel.

10. Tighten a carving stopper (1) moment of 25 Nanometers.

11. Remove covers at the inlet pipeline, having unscrewed fastening bolts. Address to an accompanying illustration.

12. Unscrew all cap nuts at nozzles the special tool, for example HAZET 4550. Turn the engine a starter so that fuel acted. After that tighten nuts the moment of 20 Nanometers. At a leakage tighten them the moment of 25 Nanometers. It is the fastest way of removal of air from fuel system.

13. Carefully pick up in an impellent compartment the flowed-out fuel.

14. Again establish engine covers.
