Check and adjustment of the moment of the beginning of injection

Fuel pump of a high pressure

For check the indicator with an adapter is necessary for a vvorachivaniye in TNVD. The engine at start should be cold. The temperature should not be however lower + 20°С.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a weight cable from the storage battery. The battery is in a luggage carrier behind the right lateral facing.

 

At a detachment of the battery the memories given in electronic blocks, for example, memories of malfunctions of the engine are erased. Address to recommendations of the Section Removal and installation of the storage battery.

2. Remove the inlet pipeline, address to the Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.

 

3. Unscrew a carving stopper (1) at TNVD. Address to an accompanying illustration.

4. Screw an adapter (1) (BMW-135330) and the indicator (2) instead of a carving stopper and slightly tighten it. Address to an accompanying illustration.

5. Turn the engine clockwise in the VMT direction of the 1st cylinder so that the indicator index for some time stopped in the bottom point. The beginning of rotation should be at least for 60-90 ° to VMT. The piston of the 1st cylinder is in VMT if both cams of the 1st cylinder on the party of a driving chain show upward. For a provorachivaniye of the engine include the 5th transfer, release the parking brake and shift the car. Or tighten a brake, establish RKPP in neutral situation and turn a pulley of a cranked shaft a head for the central bolt.

6. Establish the indicator on “0”.

7. Turn out a stopper (1) at the block of cylinders. Address to an accompanying illustration.

8. Turn a cranked shaft on 2 turns in the direction of an hour hand so that the opravka of BMW-112300 or other suitable opravka (drill) could be inserted through an opening in the block of cylinders into an opening in a flywheel.

Do not turn the engine against the direction of its rotation. It can lead to errors of measurement.

9. At a new chain the indicator should show a course of 0.95 ± 0.02 mm.

If the chain has run over 20 000 km, the indicator should show a course of 0.90 ± 0.02 mm.

10. If value does not correspond demanded, adjust the pump.

11. Weaken a bolt (3), without turning on it. Address to an accompanying illustration.

12. Weaken nuts (1) and (2).

Do not turn on nuts strongly, unscrew them on 2-3 turns to exclude a chain tension.

13. Turn TNVD so that the indicator showed demanded value.

14. Tighten nuts and bolts in sequence from 1 to 3 moment of 25 Nanometers.

15. Take out an opravka and once again repeat check. Thus a cranked shaft turn only clockwise.

16. Remove the indicator and take out an opravka.

17. Insert a stopper into the block of cylinders.

18. Tighten the central stopper with a new sealing ring the moment of 25 Nanometers.

19. Establish a butterdish cover.

20. Establish the inlet pipeline, address to the Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.

21. Attach a weight cable to the storage battery. Establish hours. Program radio receiver stations.

22. Start the engine. If necessary remove air from fuel system.

23. Pass on the car and check tightness of the central bolt. If necessary tighten it.
