Removal and installation of system of release

All elements of system of release can be replaced separately.

At installation of elements of system of release watch that they tightly incorporated with each other. Otherwise at control of the fulfilled gases incorrect results can be received.

Being self-stopped nuts and laying after removal surely should be replaced with the new. Rings and rubber support should be checked on existence of damages. If necessary replace them with the new.

At installation of new system of release it is recommended to replace all elements of fastening with the new also.

REMOVAL

1. Lift and establish the car on supports. Remove the bottom guard of an impellent compartment, address to the Section Removal and installation of the bottom guard of an impellent compartment.

2. Spray all boltovy connections by means for rust dissolution. Give some time for dissolution.

3. Unscrew fastening bolts traverses around the catalytic converter.

4. Bring under release system a garage jack and lay wooden laying. The weight of system makes 35-45 kg.

5. Unscrew bolts of fastening and remove a reception pipe from a final collector (the petrol engine) or a turbokompressor.

6. Release fastenings on a transmission arm.

7. Unscrew nuts (1) and (2) at the holder of the main exhaust silencer.

8. Disconnect release system from holders.

The catalytic converter is afraid of blows. Avoid blows and watch not to drop it.


INSTALLATION

1. Before installation of system of release into place check, whether has a flange of a final collector of deformations. If necessary отрихтуйте it.

 

For possibility of an otvorachivaniye of nuts and bolts of system of release it is recommended to grease them with high-temperature copper greasing, for example, Liqui Moly LM-508-ASC or CRC paste.

2. Establish into place system of release and will fix it holders, without tightening bolts and nuts.

3. Expose system so that it everywhere had a uniform gap not less than 25 mm in relation to a body. Besides, the terminal pipe should have uniform distance from a body around its sample.

4. Diesel engine: Fix a reception pipe at a turbokompressor. Previously check a sealing ring. If necessary replace it. A ring grease with high-temperature copper greasing.

5. Petrol engine: Establish a reception pipe at a collector with a new sealing ring and evenly fix it new being self-stopped nuts in two steps effort of 30 Nanometers + 50 Nanometers.

6. Tighten all bolts and nuts. In the last turn fix to RKPP an exhaust silencer beam so that the exhaust silencer had no tightness. The moments of an inhaling of carving connections are given in Specifications.

7. Establish cross-section to a traverse, bolts of fastening tighten the moment of 20 Nanometers.

8. Start the engine and check tightness of system of release. For this purpose close the exhaust silencer a rag. By means of the assistant check leakages of the fulfilled gases (characteristic noise, feeling a hand).

9. Establish the bottom guard of an impellent compartment, address to the Section Removal and installation of the bottom guard of an impellent compartment.
