Check of tension of a charging of the generator


1. Turn on the voltmeter between positive and negative poles of the storage battery.

2. Start the engine. Thus tension can fall to 8 In (at external temperature + 20°С).

3. Increase number of turns of the engine to 3000 rpm. Tension thus should make 13.0 - 14.5 V.Eto point to serviceability of the generator and a regulator. Tension of the generator (onboard tension) should be higher, than tension of the storage battery that in the course of movement it was charged.

4. Check a regulator. For this purpose include a driving beam and measure tension at 3000 rpm. Tension should not exceed more, than on 0.4 In the values, received at the previous measurement.

5. If malfunction was not found, check brushes or repair the generator (work HUNDRED).
