E39 series BMW 5

1. 520i 523i 528i: Press at the left and on the right on pads of the holder of a filtering element and take out the holder.

2. 525tds: Disconnect the inlet pipeline. Unscrew bolts and uncover heads of cylinders.

3. Take out filtering element of the air filter.
4. Wipe a rag the filter case.
5. In the presence of small pollution carefully beat out an element, having turned the polluted party down. The greasy filter replace.

Do not clear filtering element gasoline and do not cover it with oil. Do not blow the filter the compressed air.

1. Insert a new filtering element into the case. Laying should be in a groove.
2. 520i 523i 528i: Insert the holder and fix both lock pads.
3. 525tds: Evenly fix bolts a cover on a head of cylinders. Fix on the engine the inlet pipeline.
